is not gaining weight or is gaining slowly (less than 1 ounce per day after returning to birth weight by day 10 to 14)
is not peeing or pooping enough

is not latching well (it is painful or baby cannot maintain latch)
falls asleep quickly at the breast
has medical issues
is inconsolable at the breast
has jaundice
is being supplemented
are twins or higher order multiples

has cracked, bruised, bleeding, or sore nipples
has painful or swollen breasts
has a history of breast trauma, surgery, augmentation, or reduction
has noticed a reduction in milk supply or is concerned about adequate milk supply
is concerned about plugged ducts
has a breast infection (mastitis)
has concerns about returning to work
has concerns about medications while breastfeeding
had a difficult time breastfeeding a previous child
is having an emotionally challenging time with breastfeeding
feels confused, unsure, or is receiving mixed information
